  I should have read the reviews. My bad! I'm from Manhattan Beach (LA) and frequent seafood places very often... so I'm rather used to high prices and nice places. (Roughly $20 for a piece of salmon)... but my complaint is the quality and serving size for this place. They served me a small piece that was over salted, wasn't hardly accented with anything other than one grape tomato, and some shredded cucumber (I think that's what it was)... smh. Also, my fries came out barely even warm. My friend ordered a dish that had a mix of seafood pieces atop a huge bed of rice. He wasn't impressed either and said it was too salty. And was let down by the amount of meat he was given... if you minus the rice- he didn't get much.
  So for a $40 lunch, we decided that next time we'll find a fun looking dive with great reviews, and at that price it could easily include some drinks.

  I love the oyster bar and the wine. Over at the bar a very friendly bartender who knows me by name now and as you know I love it when "everybody knows your name" and their always glad you came. (cheers)

  Great food, but in small portions. Be prepared for high wine and menu prices. We didn't enjoy the ambience as much as many other fine dining restaurants. Seemed pretentious and stuffy rather than easygoing and fun.
